I never have somewhere I want to be, merely a direction I would like to go in

On an unrelated and semi-contradicting note: We had our first meeting for the end of year trip for our program. One of our more worldly professors puts together these 2-week adventure trips for the sole purpose of taking photographs in exotic locations. This years trip, we he says is the best, is to the Middle East. Israel, Jordan, maybe Egypt. Several days in Jerusalem, a trip to Megiddo, the West Bank, Dead Sea, Red Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Sea of Galilee, Camp out in the Jordanian dessert for a night, spend a night in Petra, Horse back riding through the dessert, possible detour to Cairo, and a few days in Tel-Aviv. This is the jist, there are many more places we would go.

Altogether I’m going to need to scrounge up $4,000-5,000 to pay for the trip, supplies and such. No chance I’m missing this though.

Recreated an old Southworth and Hawes photograph for an assignment in my alternative processes class. This will be printed out as a cyanotype.

If I have time, probably will, I’m going to do a reshoot. Layout is fine, just need to work on the lighting and get the entire first box in focus.
