Just updated my website. Some minor design tweeks (typeface changed from Futura to Toronto Subway), about me and contact changed to images (for better or worse). Expanded the galleries, food into two separate beings (sorta normal & experimental), portraits into two as well (the old B&W gallery and a new colour one), and the recent travel section divided into its destinations.

Part of me doesn’t want to let go of that. Other traces...

Day Fourteen, May 13th
Israel. Last day.

Around the same time our group leader, Neil, and those who had their passports stolen left in a cab for Tel-Aviv (they later tell me of their adventure at the embassy). Something odd about taking a cab ride to the other side of the country. Definitely can’t do that in Canada.
We arrived early at Masada,...

Day Thirteen, May 12th
Jordan
Left the hotel in the morning and drove to the border. We avoid baggage checks (by less than legal means). An argument almost boiled over amongst arabs outside the customs office.
Back in Israel we reunited with our tour guide Ophir (who didn’t follow us into Jordan). We travelled to Ein Gedi, an oasis near the west shore of the Dead Sea - stayed for long enough to get in some...
