Day Twelve, May 11th
This day I saw the most beautiful sunrise of my life. I awoke around 4am, very well rested despite only a few hours of sleep (sand dunes good for sleep, who knew?). It was dawn, the sun still below the horizon, and the entire world was blue, the sky, the sand, the rock, and a few stars still poked through the atmosphere. This week
I mailed out 3 rolls of Kodachrome to Dwayne’s in Kansas. My first and last rolls, with shots from both Israel and Jordan, as well as shots of my grandparents and my neighborhood. I now wait with much anticipation. One of the rolls was a slightly older roll of Kodachrome 25.
